CHSS Faculty Series: The Visual Replete

The Creative/Critical discussion series of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, featuring the scholarly and creative output of CHSS faculty members, presents its third panel — The Visual Replete — on Friday, May 3, 2019. This panel, featuring work primarily in the visual arts, explores the possibilities afforded by visual representations of subjects that otherwise hide, slip away, or fall off into forgetfulness or into the void — into folds, interstices, voicelessness, or effacement. The forgotten, the overlooked, the antiquated or unpreserved that might otherwise meet with erasure are here memorialized.
