Internships for the MAMJ program will be offered in the US and Armenia to students during the second summer session. Internships in the US are competitive and limited to a certain number of top students in each cohort.
For summer 2026 students will be working at newspaper, online and television newsrooms in Seattle, Spokane, Bellingham, and Wenatchee in Washington state, and in Lewiston, Idaho as well as media outlets such as EVN Report in Yerevan.
All internships are carefully selected to ensure that students get the most valuable professional experience from the internship. Interns will be expected to do similar work as the news organizations’ junior journalists or producers, with a focus on writing, editing, or producing stories on their own or in collaboration with their journalism peers at the organization.
